Is this really the ultimate answer to 'Life, the Universe and Everything'?
Full acknowledgement to Douglas Adams for providing an iconic expression, in the title of the third volume of his 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' and the equally iconic, but inscrutable answer - Forty Two! There is always mystery in our lives, some of which will never unfold, but whatever we do or say, we have to assume we are ignorant, at least until we are sure about something. So much is spoken about so many things, a lot of which is so often an expression of ignorance. Thinking about life, the universe and everything will help us come to terms with the enormity of it all and with the fact that we will never have true control over any of it - much as some would like to believe they do. Why? Because we aren't here for long enough!
So a blog about almost anything and everything I can think is relevant to our existence; nothing's ruled out! Anything and everything goes, as long as it's reasonably civilised!
