On Becoming a Hermit, Sort of ... Day 45

Day 45
(Thursday, 30th April 2020)

Today was the launching of yet another Zoom meeting in our lives. Our Guide Dogs Puppy Walking Supervisor has started to run the puppy class, which will run once a week on Thursday mornings. I have to say, it went quite well, particularly since it also involved Meggie, whom I kept in the background, but did the tasks we were set to do along with our proper GDP, Taz.

B's new wormery composter arrived today and is now setup and ready to start manufacturing totally organic, naturally produced fertiliser. Fascinating. Watching the wigglers.

This of course puts our morning routine out of sync, so we ended up not doing our daily Tai Chi session, but hey-ho, I'm sure we'll make up for that.
Clemency Burton-Hill's choice of music for today is: Violin Concerto in E minor, Op.64 3: Allegretto non trope - Allegro molto vivace by Felix Mendelssohn. This 'landmark' of a composition took Mendelssohn six years to complete. He did it in collaboration with his violinist friend,  Ferdinand David, who seemingly had a significant influence on the work. "It was worth the wait" says Clemency.
